This Sukkot, join rabbinical student Nasiyah Isra-Ul (they/she) for a warm, welcoming virtual gathering where we build a sanctuary together from wherever you are. As we reflect on the year we’ve left behind, we will intentionally create space for healing, connection, and renewal. Through a queer Jewish lens, we will recontextualize the concept of Ushpizin (sacred guests) to invite in the ancestors, icons, and trailblazers whose sacrifices made our own queer existence possible. Using art and music as our tools, we will collaboratively weave together a spiritual sukkah grounded in shared history and creative expression.
